Course Rationale:

 

This course enables students to develop their understanding of basic concepts in biology, chemistry, earth and space science, and physics, and to apply their knowledge of science to everyday situations. They are also given opportunities to develop practical skills related to scientific investigation.

Extra Help:

See the board in class for weekly schedule.  Extra help is available most days at lunch.

 

How to Use this Site:

For most lessons you will see two files.  One is the PowerPoint/Smart Notebook note used in class, the other is the student handout that students are given in class.  They will need to fill in the blanks from the note and complete daily work on these handouts.

 

If a student is absent they will need to PRINT the student handout and USE the note to help them complete their note and the work assigned.  

 

Additionally, unit plans, unit project information, test information, etc are posted under each unit.
